  • I noticed a lot of the shoes that made appearances on the spring 14 runways had the pointed mary jane look which I love (both flat and heeled). To me, it just screams sophisticated, confident and sexy in a way no round toe could portray. Another trend that popped up in many shows was the flat, detailed sandal- SCORE!!!! Our feet have been saved…!
  • In all honesty I hate heels and barely wear them unless I have to (thank god for flats being ‘in’ at the moment..!) With certain shoes however, I did find myself gravitating towards a little bit of a heel
  • Perhaps this season I’ll make an effort to spruce up my outfits, (once a week for dinner..?) and with these heels I would say that’s a compromise I would be willing to make
  • This Dior heel is a perfect look for spring to accompany any floral print dress (or perhaps even with jeans and a flowy, spring top) – sporty yet feminine enough with the pastel colors this was one of my top favorites that floated down the runway this past season (It would also go so perfectly with the pastel color block Fendi tote I have been eyeing, pictured in the ‘s/s 14 bag’ category)
  • Check out this lace up look if you want an even more sporty feel for your heel: cruelintheafternoon.tumblr.com

  • This feminine heel is a take on the dior heel pictured below however the laces add even more of a sporty look, a popular theme amongst many of the spring show
  • The pastel blue is great for brightening up any outfit and would look fantastic with a pair of slouchy boyfriend jeans or a cute floral print dress
  • Also a bit more of a chunky heel than the Dior one which would make them a lot more comfortable
