My boyfriend and I had been wanting to try this place as it looked really cool, fresh and had a nice sushi bar. It was always quite busy as well which is always a good sign.

Great menu with a vast amount of apps, sushi and roll options. We split the seaweed salad which was really different, came in a thin cracker type bowl and flavor wise was bang on and then got some rolls to share. Everything was so fresh and melted in our mouths. The service was extremely friendly and attentive.

The only downside was we couldn’t get brown rice for our rolls. Otherwise the place was great, moderate prices, cool busy neighborhood and somewhere we would definitely go back.

I would go to Kotobuki if I felt like something a bit more lively and fun with friends and Kanoyama with my boyfriend for a date night. Fish wise both were extremely fresh and mouth watering.
