I went here for brunch on a Saturday with a friend. It was a cool (literally, AC on HIGH) gem tucked down in the LES with relaxed neighborhood vibes. The menu was different enough that you couldn’t make any of the dishes at home (I generally find breakfast/brunch out a bit of a waste considering I live and love my porridge all day every day) BUT that being said I seriously enjoyed my egg/black rice mash and acai bowl! We both ordered the black rice bowl, a compilation of rice, squash, zucchini, spices and an egg on top. DELISH! We then split an acai bowl, even though incredibly stuffed. The interior design was mad men vintage with clean white walls and wooden misshaped tables. Not necessarily cozy, but I can definitely see myself going back here if ever in the area. I’d skip the coffee and go to another coffee shop nearby, it’s quite strong and bitter.
