I came here late night with a couple friends hoping to grab some drinks/small bites. The bar section was full but we didn’t exactly feel like trying to find another spot (this was our 3rd place as everywhere was full) so we decided to grab a table, however we were told we all had to order an entrée. I wasn’t too hungry (quite odd, I’m always hungry) so I opted for a starter of mushrooms as my main but they didn’t seem to mind.

I had the fungi misti, a combination of king oyster and white beech mushrooms with crushed peas underneath and a whipped ricotta on top. I tried to be healthy and have the ricotta on the side but ended up eating it all as it was so light and creamy- a must try! My boyfriend ordered the steak which he similarly enjoyed.

I think we were more in the mood for wine/mixed drinks so with that in mind the restaurant was fine and did the trick however it is a beer garden and has a huge list of bottle and tap options that is what it specializes in. I think it would be a lot more fun to come with a big group when it’s really sunny/nice out as it has a retractable roof that opens up. The crowd seemed a bit touristy (as we somewhat expected for Eataly) and portions were relatively small and overpriced for the style of food however it was all extremely fresh and tasted great so it’s a nice option in the summer or perhaps to take some friends who are visiting.
