Ingredients – Salad

  • 1) Mixed Greens
  • 2) Microwaved carrots
  • 3) Tempeh
  • 4) Cucumber
  • 5) Plain balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 Avocado

Ingredients – Oatmeal

  • 1) 1/3 cup (realistically I do 1/2 cup) Any kind of oats; steal cut or large flakes (I prefer quick 5-miute steal cut)
  • 2) 1/2 banana
  • 3) Splash of skim milk
  • 4) Sweetener and cinnamon to taste
  • I like starting breakfasts off with salads as it helps my metabolism and keeps me more full
  • I usually do oats with a salad, or oats with an egg white omelet to get my veggies and protein for the start of the day
  • I like microwaving my carrots b/c it gives it a nice caramelized flavor
